awesome... no way he's 6'7. He looks closer to 6'8- 6'9 and at 19 I wouldnt be shocked if he winds up 6'10. Heck.. I went from 6'0 at 18 to 6'4 by 20.

Also dont be shocked if thats where our MLE goes next summer.

In June, he was 6'7" without shoes on; 6'8.25" with shoes on (which is how NBA players are typically measured). Maybe he's grown since then. His wing span is about as long as most centers'.

The kid redefines the word "explosive."

After watching him play in the 4th quarter, it sure looks like he has a good feel for the game. With the unit he played with on the floor, he looked like he was the best player on the floor-- very active--- a lot of quiet poise, very Lebron-like. :)

I was thinking of more players he reminds me of:

A taller, young version of Sprewell or Knicks "legend" #21, Gerald Wilkins. Always on the move on the break, always making something happen. He moves with the speed of a quick SG... but has this excellent size and length.

Different body type, but he has a lot of the oomph that Richard Jefferson displayed early on as a rookie. He makes plays happen. Not an original thought, but I see the comparisons.

His quickness in transition will have teams keeping a man back just to contain him.

Oh, one more thing... AS OF JULY, THIS ARTICLE MENTIONS THAT HE IS STILL GROWING.

This kid has seen the effects of the dark side and I hope his gifted ability is able to heal some pain, and make a difference.

The narssisic tendencies of players spoiled by wealth is the undermining of a great sport. There are guys whom see the privelige and responsablity to help others.

Nothing wrong with having a good time, but life is more than attending hedonistic urges fueling material purchases to create envy worshipping from the entourage.

I wish him a long and fruitful career, and true happiness as a person!

Yes, I saw one game of the summer league, and I've seen three pre-season games (one in person)...Ariza has improved by leaps and bounds. Even his jumper has improved. I hope Isiah is smart about re-signing this kid next summer. He could be a 6'10" Tim Thomas type with more explosiveness, who actually knows how to play! AK47? This kid has an extremely high ceiling. The most impressive thing right now is his mental makeup. Don't let him get away, Zeke.
