seriously... this is why you cant overreact in the preseason. Good defensive effort all around. Our size was better then their size... plain and simple.

Its going to be interesting when the season starts to see who plays. You saw some very effective minutes from JYD at the 3 tonight.
You know who's starting:
Marbury, Crawford, TT, KT, Nazr assumingwe are status quo.
That leave Ariza, Penny, Sweetney, Baker and JYD. Thats 10, without Houston, and everyone of those guys brings something usefull.

Last year Memphis played 10 and was very good... I'm curios to see what direction Lenny goes.

Yeah 5 rebounds 1 steal. Very active, good to know. JYD is always prepared even if he's not the best player out there.

I think most of us here are experienced enough to know that.

It was a fun win, though. The team's having a nice pre-season. .500 against teams--except the Nets--that will challenge for 50 to 60 wins is a nice start.

No reason not to go deep into the rotation. We have a lot of old guys that need the rest anyway, and a good portion of young players who need the time. If we're gonna play uptempo you like to have fresh players out on the floor.

It still all comes down to Marbury. He's the motor. If he can push the ball and keep guys involved when the game slows down we will be in good shape. We arent asking Penny to play great D for 40 minutes, but hecan play good D for 15.

You saw a very aggressive team tonight, especially on defense.

Man... watching Sweetney miss those shots were impressive. He was going against Booth at times.. a 7 foot defensive specialist. Even though they didnt all go down (that dunk was sick) you can see in a year or so how's he's going to be unstoppable in the post.
