He seemed to be very optimistic and excited about the Knicks 2004-05 upcoming season.

Usually when he's broadcasting the game on television, he would heavily criticized the knickerbockers on the littlest things..

Now since he's the anchor guy on MSG for the knicks, he needs to be a bit more supportive...

The Future. GO KNICKS!

Remember why Marv Albert won't be doing any Knicks games this year.

Its written in his contract that he is not allowed to say any thing negative about the KNicks. That was the reason Marv was let go because he often spoke the truth when the Knicks played like ****.

Marv was a good announcer but I absolutely hated hearing his lil "YES!!!" exclamations whenever other team's s stars would score on the Knicks during tight games.
He was especially partial to anything lobbed up there by Jordan and Reggie Miller.
Anyways... I'm glad to see him go as I like to see announcers at least try to be impartial.

I don't know man. I like announcers who are homers. Well for my team anyways. Have you listened to John Sterling? He is hilarious. "Bernie goes BOOM!" "Bern Baby Bern!" "Yankees win! The-eh-eh-eh-eh Yankees win!"

And for your information. I have no recollection of what happened on dates 10/17/2004 to 10 10/20/2004.

Thats only good if the team is winning. But how do you say good things about a team when they are playing like crap and everyone can see that they are playing like crap. I like announcers that are a little bias toward the home team but there are limitations to it.
