I thought about that, but could not come up with an expiring deal for them. I think Nazr is such.

Collins and williams sets them with centers, but they get out from under mournings contract which makes sense for them. They might want to move one of them and draft big down the road.

I would even do that trade straight up with no pick.

two bad games and we hating on Nazr. He a knick now!

If it's the Nets' pick (which will be a good lottery pick), sure I'd do the deal. If it's one of the other 2 picks they have, I'll have to think about it. It would be taking a step backward to take 2 steps forward later. If there are no picks involved (Nalod's suggestion), I think we can get far more for Nazy in 12 months with his expiring contract.

I like Nazr and I think he will have a decent season, but I'd definitely do this deal. Going into the offseason with a Nets lottery pick and some nice expiring contracts in Penny, Tim, and Moochie, we would have some nice trade bait to get a big guy. Of course, if there is a nice Center prospect available at that pick, we could always just use the pick to draft.

If we got a god draft pick, I would do that trade. But, correct me if I'm wrong, I think Zo's contract is only 1 year longer than Nazr's. Why would the Nets drop a pick to save $5million?

Lets not assume the Nets are not going to make the playoffs once they get Jason Kidd back they are still going to be a pretty good team, and no way the Nets do that deal. Naz sucks he is a back-up.
