So pissed we fd up another draft. Watching Haliburton kill it does not help
I agree...we've been starving for a solid PG. Remember how Jason Kidd turned this offense around, when he was running point, eventhough past his prime. But we also needed other positions as well. I feel like this team only needs to fix the PG spot and continue to add shooters. In the past, we needed a new system, coach, gm, pg, center, etc.... Now we got thibs, im sure he will turn any young shooter into a 2 way player. And young shooters are easy to find. But having the right PG is really the key....we already have the center spot on lock. A good PG would do wonders for mitch, agree 10000%
Mitch is also 3 yrs into the nba. Remember he came from HS....and spent 1 year in and out of lifetime fitness. So his basketball IQ was rare and hasn't fully developed. Hes starting to shine now, with experience and coaching improvement. I think having a penetration pg and guards like RJ, helps mitch with put backs.
I'm not worried about IQ....I think the entire team is not in shape enough to handle thibs practice. But Randle looks like he was prepared. And I think mitch was mentioned during the bubble for working out, including RJ...which is probably why he's getting so many mins. But I love how mitch is using his height and length more, instead of trying to kill every block.
