We've been discussing the KP trade as well -- along with not signing KD and Kyrie these have been the been the main sticking points of so much clowning of the Knicks (to admittedly go with their crappy record!). But the amount of s#!t criticism from media jackoffs utilizing lazy Knicks hate to court an audience...will any of them take a minute to say maybe I was wrong? Of course not. Now more remains to be played out -- if Kyrie and KD take the Nets to the Promised Land then perhaps cap killing your team by tossing two maxes for a beta diva with a bad wheel and a selfish ding dong and letting them run the asylum will be worth it. But I am sure we dodged a bullet and am so much more into rooting for our scrappy Thibs-led team than those two yo yo's.

I will say that whatever success they have in Brooklyn, they are 2 of the least likable players in the nba so I’m not disappointed we didn’t sign them.

At the end of the day Kyrie has some sort of disorder. Marv might be better to discuss this (he is Dr. Marv) mood swing issue and subsequent effect. Nalod thinks the kid is out there/bat shyt cray but can ball like few can. His teammates or ex teammates generally have good things to say about him and his intentions. Fans love to bash him. Non fans love to hate him. I think most teams know what they were getting with him. Celts were able to parlay his cap into Kemba. I think fans project this as being a locker room cancer but thats not what we read. I think they are protective of this aspect of him. Seemingly Kyrie has faded from endorsements or any star type treatment. Its almost as if he knows when to go “dark” as not to ruin things. He gets close, but backs away. I think in Knick land the Durant to us as more in play. we did not know it was a tandem thing. Behind closed doors it might have been told Durant was welcome but not Kyrie. I’m just guessing. KNicks don’t need to disclose that. Nets are doing a two year window starphuch. Thats their business. Would I have been down for that? Build a base like Nets keeping that core mostly together THEN adding those two? To be honest, I think I would have. But thats not the fan game is played. Maybe Kyrie is in a funk due to the weight of recent events and he gets crushed by the oppressive nature of racism and being a pubic figure its the only way he can suppress his rage without damaging his brand, the league, or the team. If that was the case maybe I’d be more forgiving.
