Oh yeas, Quickleyy, the annual "hang your ass out there" thread. I think we make the playoffs. Thibs don't mess around and we have some nice pieces to work with. Quickley. This year's team has some depth too. Some can call it redundancy, I Quickley reply that it's depth. This is real. Witness the IQ, MR. Right Play, I tell you. His first game on an NBA court, I saw him try to get a shooting foul called in his favor the first time I thought it was cute. The ref heard none of it. Then IQ went at it again trying to get a shooting foul called with no avail the next time down the floor. I was like who the heck does he think he is? The refs were flabbergasted too. Then he did it again. And it was glorious ! He forced the refs to call it. I went ape $hit. That's how you do it !!!!! That's all you need to know. We have our leader. No stupid poison pill contract can take him away from us this time. Not for a little while anyway

So yeah, I say we make the playoffs, especially with the new format of the worst teams doing a mini tournament for the last playoff spots this year.

Thibs stubbornly continues to start and give lots of minutes to Ranlde and Payton. We strike out in the mini tournament, so no playoffs, but finish the season high enough to miss out on Suggs, Cade and Mobley. But start calling for Thib's head around early March already. Vassel lights us up for 30 points on 5/7 shooting from downtown when he visits the Garden on 21 February. We let go of Bradzeikis, who goes to Utah to become the next Joe Ingles. At the end of the season, DSJr goes to play in China. Frank is traded to the Spurs together with a first round pick for DeMar DeRozan, while the Knicks brass announces that the best way to secure a legitimate star is to trade for one in his contract year and hope to re-sign him.

Oh, yes, and KP comes back mid-season, averages 25 points, he and Luca get the 3rd top seed in the West and advance to the WCF.

I only have one question. Is Obi the Rookie of the year or is it Quickley?

After one pre season game against another horrible team, it’s best to be tempered in our expectations.

But Quickly sure did look like our best PG candidate, as did Harper!

Linsanity 2.0?

The effort on defense was unreal.

Knox finally showed what we’ve been hoping for. He’s not going to be 6 of 7 from 3 every game!

But I think this team may beat the Vegas line. Those of us in NJ should maybe place a bet?

I don’t think, thought, we can say we’re one of the top 8 teams in the East. I bet we exceed expectations, miss the playoffs.

Winning 29 games in a 72 game season is a 400 winning percentage, and that would be a great accomplishment for this franchise this year.

If we are jumping to conclusions with IQ, we are most certainly with Harper.
For one Ca’vs back court can’t play a lick of defense. They had Issac Orcoro on IQ at times.
Cav’s pair are super quick and really nobody can keep them in front. I would like to have seen Frank on Sexton.
Harper can shoot and my heart goes out to the little guys. But I don’t like my guards tiny. When the Uniform number is damn near tucked in the the band of a players shorts they are too small for the NBA. I’m too small for the nba.

The ROY honors will go to Daniel Oturu, picked by the Knicks at 33 and then traded to the Wolves for a future 2nd round pick. Among the highlights of Oturu's season will be the game against the Knicks, where he would notch 22 points, 11 rebounds and 6 blocks against Mitchell Robinson.

And I will use my "get out of jail free" card for butchering Brazdeikis's last name and Doncic's first name earlier.
