Love the way Qickley is pushing the tempo...throwing outlet passes. Got the starting 5 looking like the 80s Lake Show

Quickley is a fast decision maker. No plodding. And he's making great reads - take the shot when it's there, make the crisp pass when not. And he plays great D. What's not to love? How was this guy deemed a reach at the end of the first?!
The new new core: Randle, RJ, IQ. Maybe Mitch. Future pick. Future trade. Future FA.

And he's smart enough to know when to slow it down too. Damn, this kid.

Like I said I don’t want to get too crazy over preseason but Thibs has already had a positive effect on the kids. Toppin and Quickley are making Leon look great too. What makes me excited is all the draft capital we have coming too especially next year in a strong draft.

The floor is so wide open when you have shooting at that position. When was that last time we had a lead guard that could shoot ?

To add...Quickly does turn down shots unlike our other pgs so the offensive sets look a lot better...

I get it, but I think Payton can be a very good change of pace backup. I want to see Quickley starting with Payton as his backup, although I know it still won’t happen anytime soon. Or is very unlikely.
