Clyde talked about how fans get on Randle and yet he is our no. 1 option for now.
He was talking to us. Does media influence us?

The whole Free agent as savior starphuch. Media keeps feeding us, we take it and run with it. Then when t don’t happen they say we failed. Then we all mope around like Knicks are “Stupid”.
Facts are these instances are few but we are ingrained to want a star FA and a savior.

Question Authority? When a dude like Berman who is around the team a lot and has cred does this remember its filler. We love it!
TRump keeps telling us he won and won big. Keep hearing it many believe it. They are impressionable. IF everytime you remembers Trump is a Sociopath then his words have less meaning. He talks to serve his goals not the people who he works for.. Berman works for the newspapers and readership is who is trying to increase. He is not here to help us. Not saying he is a broken man like trump, but he knows anger sells and fans love this.
Read most of MS’ posts here. He is a good dude and smart but he has a very negative slant two most his posts. He vents his frustrations. Yes, those emotions are real. 1248 also writes by his emotions and does not fact check many of his points. Its a fascinating study actually!
After the Detroit game someone here spouted “We played like we were coached by Fizdale”! Might be true but it was a second preseason game with less than a week of full practice. It should look disorganized and our opponents were also kind of raw. Hard to gauge what really happened. Same for last night. Cleve played guys likely not on the roster next week.
Take what you see and read about and form. Your own basis. We can think. Can’t make **** up like are in a players head and knows what he thinks, but applying logic gives you an individual perspective. Not that of a reporter trying to get eyeballs!

Clyde at beginning of game: Why does everyone hate Randle?

Clyde, to himself, during 4th quarter: Oh, now I get it

Randle is our new JR. Not the knuckle head, but he checks so many boxes and has the talents but just not quite there.
I like the new move he does, spins then passes out. Its really not bad!

Randle is another 4-5 option based on BBIQ who has 2-3 option talent. Exactly like JR was when he was here

Clyde answered his own question by talking about turnovers.

Randle didn’t play awful in the first half yesterday. He made baskets, played his usual role, missed some defensive assignments and often refused to make the right pass.

The team played much better without Elf and Randle. It won’t always be like that. Thibs will play the guys who are doing the best. It seems like the one constant at the end of games is RJ Barrett. It seems like the only two people who don’t realize he is our best player are Randle and Elf. Thibs always has him in at the end of games. Cleveland defended him like he was the best player. I have a feeling RJ knows it as well.

RJ is a gamer. See that in Qucikley as well. They have that Starks type intensity. Still fell Randle is not as bad as people think he is and he is still very young. Hoping Thibs is a good influence. Already starting to pass the ball more. Do agree hi is not a 1st option type player.

this is key. his best production was when he had AD and Jrue

As a number 1 option his low BBIQ gets amplified as it did last night when he dribbled into a double team and spun into a triple team and Clyde commented on that

I have no doubt that he's not a nice guy, or that he's talented. That said, he's not a number 1 though and for similar reasons he's not a 6th man because he shouldn't be a number 1 option on first or second unit. You don't want the offense run through him. You don't want him making the decisions

he is best suited in a situation where there is a SMART number 1 who can score and demand attention and who shares the ball and can leverage Randle when teams stop paying enough attention to him
