And I’ll say it again— we’re gonna regret not simply taking Daniel Oturu at 33– he could’ve been that guy. We don’t have a tough player— more so a tough big. A tone setter— a guy who helps the team set a gritty tone. We’ve lacked a mental toughness here for years. I’m not sure M Rob is that guy. The over signing at Pg set the table for player sniping right away— we over signed the position and we did not address toughness on the roster. All we see from year to year is weak minded trans. Where’s our tough guy?

we may end up with someone like Taj on the bench but you don't see a lot of those guys anymore. I'm fine with that. I'm more into hyper-competitive types who can actually stay on the court and compete. It can come from any position but the guys who don't take plays off and lead by example or otherwise. i think RJ has that in him. and i'd like to think Obi too

some swagger

Believe we have that player in Noel. RJ is no shrinking violet himself. Thibs being coach, I expect a certain standard, when it comes to toughness. Hoping it doesnt involve relying too much on certain players.

Looks like the FO has been trying to give Thibs, a bench that doesmt make that necessary.
