I haven't checked in on his progress in a while, but maybe that report needs to be revised. Maybe a good target at where the Knicks are likely picking. Stash him and see where it goes. He’s not Lamelo level but his passing is quite close. Only thing is that the competition would be quite tough so he might have to do some g league stints now and then but NBA readiness is there. If you arn't on the Bassey train now is the time to hop on board. This video dosen't even show how good of a floor spacer he is. Its really hard for me not seeing this guy as a decent backup C. He's mobile, he can protect the rim, he can shoot, can get to his spots, and he's got alot of heart. I really wanted WKU to make the tourney this year so the he can show what he's capable of but he's definitely my #1 target with the dallas pick. The Future is Bright!

Based on ESPN, Wasserman, Ford, and Athletic it seems like this is the top ten pre tourney:

Nothing holding him back but he’s a junior. Illinois and Gonzaga are also set up to go deep unless a upset happens. The algorithm gives and the algorithm takes away

I think Barnes and him are the most volatile prospects right now. Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. I wish he was healthy and Duke were in tourney because we needed to see more half court offense. Barnes is a lock top 10 unless he flames out in tourney. Teams really seem to buy his unique skill set. I'm personally very skeptical of him and much more intrigued by someone like Wagner. The Future is Bright!

He passes, plays defense, sees the floor...all great skills. But he doesn't bang inside, rebound, or shoot. Where do you play him? Wagner definitely has the higher floor.
