No doubt Knicks will have extra access to them as prospect. If we are really bad, Boston will be the target. Even if Knicks have to move up a couple spots to get him (or they withhold medical info to steer him to NY.) If the Knicks overachieve based on coaching/player improvements and get into the 8-13 draft range, Clarke is the more likely target. Both are elite wing athletes and fit next to Barrett. Boston is probably the more polished player, hence the top 3 projection as things stand now.

C Robinson
PF Toppin
G/F Barrett
G/F Boston or Clarke
PG Quickley (unless a star PG is acquired)

This seems the like the likely blueprint for this front office as things stand now

Don't forget about lil Toppin. Has his brothers athleticism and a solsi three point shot. We might be able to reunite the family in the second-round.

I saw BJ Boston in person during his Sophomore and junior year, several times when he played @ Norcross here in Atlanta. He's good, can score but not a very explosive athlete and he tended to take plays off at times.

Cade Cunningham and Jalen Green have the potential to be franchise players. If we miss out on either of them, but we still need a pg or playmaker, Jalen Johnson will probably be the next best prospect being that he's a point forward. With that said the entire top 12 is legit...

Boston looks smooth, especially shooting of the dribble. His handle can tighten up, but he reminds of Tatum or young in terms of the ease he has creating shots. Jalen is just a SOB on the court hahahah just wants to ruin your career everytime he has the ball.

How high a pick do we need to get a substantial player?

I'd be happy with Scottie Barnes if we got him at our familiar spot of 8. Problem is that he becomes kind of redundant skill wise with RJ and OB1, kinda like Okoro.

Straight guess: prob top 5

Could be a LeBron, Melo, Bosh, Wade type draft

If we land #1, we get a franchise changing player on Cade. Everyone else from 2-8 can be multiple Allstars...This draft is deep.

Yep. I will personally move RJ to SF myself if we get Case.

Both Clarke and Boston struggled scoring a bit but both look the part from an athlete and movement standpoint. I’m watching closely because I’m like 60% sure we end up with one of those players.
