Given the unusual season and economics of Covid, a draft with great parity, and teams with cap space there is a prime opportunity for teams to make moves of a daring nature.

Minny is knocking knocking on the door of respectability and Glen Taylor has the first pick. He is also looking to unload some or all of the equity of theam. Opportunity.

GSW still has the best back court in the game/history, and poised to contend. Would it be wise to move the 2nd pick for pieces that help them win now?

Hornets could use about everything. They are still shedding salary but are rebuilding. No telling if they draft or move.

Bulls. A lot of pieces on a young roster. I have no feel for them. New GM, new coach.

Cleveland: they have young guard, Love, and Drummond. Not far from being respectable. Nalod has not read this but it makes sense to flip Love for Haywood. Cav’s need Glue and they get Loves contract off the books. Haywood has one year left. Celts get a stretch 4 they need. Tatum and Brown stay at the wingS with Kemba . speaking of Celts, they trade us all their picks for Mitch and get an inexpensive rim protector to pair with Theis.

ATL: Not as interesting. Lots of pieces last few year and could move up To get Ball? Pair with Trae Young?

Pistons. Rebuilding and a healthy Griffith has two years left on his contract. He has had plenty of time to get healed. It’s 37 and 39 mil each of those years. seems silly for us to take that as we are not that far ahead of them but to each his own. Christian wood value I have read should top at 15mil. Griff trade potential is an interesting under discussed read. He was playing at a high level before he got hurt.

Knicks: Can spend all day here. So many possibilities making daft night interesting. Celts have 3 first round picks.
Maybe the formula is we move Mitch and our 8 and were do we end up with? Leon, Brock, Perrin, Payne, an Perry all make for interesting room come draft night. Even if we do nothing it would be fun to have a peek into what is being thrown about in the room where it happens. And we ain’t in it!!!!

Why are you trying to trade our most promising player for a bunch of draft picks in a weak draft. Not a good deal for us unless those picks allow us to move up for Wiseman and we still get someone like Bey or a pg in the first round, which I don’t think will or can happen.

Trust the Process

I say this if our brain trust conviction is high on a player to move on up. Mitch’s contract is massive to a team landlocked by cap.

IN a Qanon fashion if some teams are unsually lucky, and Knicks conspiculously not, then there must someone pulling the strings against us.
The illogical then becomes a conspiracy. Despite its good for the league to have a strong presence in NYC all these years. That Stern, and now Silver are determined to destroy us despite the inherent logic.
Instead it fuels all the karma out west to the Lakers!!!
Must be a conspiracy.

I don't think the Cavs are almost there..... They were worst than us last year. They tried to get an asset for Love but I think its time they try to just get out of his contract as painless as possible.
The algorithm gives and the algorithm takes away

Sexton, Drummond and Love are a decent trio. If healthy Love is rather good. But he never is/
