We don't discuss him much, but he has a chance to be another version of Davis Bertan or Duncan Robinson. Should be available in the late 1st, but I wouldn't count on him in the 2nd because I would expect a playoff contender to scoop him up as an easy fitting stretch-4. He's athletic enough not to be a liability defensively, and has a good basketball IQ. His stock is low due to injury concerns, as he would be a lock for the mid-1st round without the injury history, even as a 4 year college player. The injury history is enough of a reason not to draft him, but he's an elite shooter who shot over 40% from 3pt all 4 years in college. If we go wing or PG at 8, i'll happily go with a true stretch-4 that can really shoot it at 27 and take my chances with the injury history. If he pans out, he's a perfect fit next to Mitch Robinson due to his shooting and passing from the 4 spot.

I don't see a Bertans or Robinson, but I see a Maxi Kleiber type. I think there will be too many available options for the Knicks to ever consider him in the first round, but I'd take flyer on him in the second round. Would also be a heckuva of a pickup as UDFA.

I can see why you make that comparison, but Tillie is a much better shooter.

If he can’t play defense then his max mins per game is like 15-20. Right?

He's not a bad defender. He's mobile and has good defensive instincts. He shouldn't be a liability on that end.
