Supposedly he won’t be an assistant on the knicks staff next season. I thought he did a good job last season. Is he the next Steve Clifford?

Should of took the 4th asst job....I know he was the HC but he moved up to that first chair a bit quick...he is not getting an HC job...and any asst coach will not be better than what he would have had here making more of a name for himself..

In general, some NBA team will find a place for him, so he and his family can have medical benefits. Also the league will likely get better access to any vaccine and NBA medical staffs are some of the best in the entire world.

Once you are "inside" a league's general structure, they will try their best to take care of you. It's also a hedge one day if the situation is ever reversed.

Mark Cuban said this years ago. Any former Maverick is welcome to work for Dallas. It might not be an elite job or even a good paying one, but no former Maverick will go hungry on his watch as long as they are willing to work. He didn't want to be a handout type owner ( like Al Davis) because he didn't think that has helping a person. Delonte West and Lamar Odom are probably the only exceptions to Cuban's stance.

I hope he gets a gig somewhere next season. Not only did the Knicks play a lot better with him he’s a genuinely good guy
