In order to pull off a Paul, Hayward, Gallo offseason. We would basically need to make that deal above. Sign Gallo for 20mil per(2yrs). Then offer a S&T to Boston of Portis and a pick for Hayward who would have to opt out and then resign again for 20mil per(3yrs but preferably 2).
I would rather Portis, then randle, randle is a 20/10/3 portis is not.
After the Run okc had this season, are they really in a rush to give up CP for some avg players?
The premise of the post was to land CP3-Hayward-Gallo. Would prefer interchangeable forwards like Hayward & Gallo to Randle. And don't see a way to keep Randle at $18.9mil while adding the $81.5mil in salary that these 3 would command under this scenario of them agreeing to the contracts within this scenario.
Paul, DS, Gallo(if resigned) & Adams together make next yrs salary cap alone. They most likely will let Gallinari walk in FA. And will have to make decisions on Schroder & Adams the following yrs. They aren't really built to do anything with CP3 given the stage he is at in his career and the price tag he is getting paid. And they can't afford for him to knock on wood get any type of injuries while under this contract. They will most likely move Paul for cap space while his value is at its highest. Hand the keys to SGA. Then use the multitude of picks and cap flexibility they are going to go into over the next 2 yrs to add players to play with SGA. They will then also decide if they want Schroder & Adams long term or not. But Adams making $27.5mil while putting up 11pts-9rebs-1blk and no shooting will probably have him get faded out.
