Bobcats if they feel there is a franchise changer at 3 then they most likely won't move it as this is what they need. They could easily draft Ball or Hayes and pair them with Rozier at 1 & 2 then have Graham come off the bench.

But if they don't value these players at this level. They may be interested in a trade down to #8 if the Knicks with their cap space ate say Cody Zeller's 15mil contract. At #8 they can target a center like Onyeka Okongwu to go with their core. Or they can go guard while freeing up the cap to go after a Drummond or Derozan.

Another route could be to offer Randle for Zeller who could add production to their rotation probably off the bench at PF/C. A front court of Washington/Okongwu/Randle may be enticing for them. They wouldn't save money but they would get a production upgrade while trading down 5 spots. Graham, Rozier, Bridges, Washington, Okongwu, 6th Randle wouldn't be to shabby for them.

Wiseman would be ideal for them and they could attempt to move up themselves. But I don't see Wiseman going past the Warriors.

I live nc the rumors down here on radio michael jordan might trade next year 2021 pick unprotected for wiseman to the wolves. They also said on radio the hornets are willing to take the contract of jame johnston to get wiseman. I think ball is going to the bulls at 4 they drafted koby parker guy last year he is more lou williams type of guard.

The other avenue is to sit tight and let the Hyped drop through. No cost.

Good take. Likely they take Wiseman. trade to Wolves for the 2? For unprotected next year? Interesting. The OKongwu take is interesting.

Let me add that Mitch Robinson being a 2nd rounder becomes a issue to retain. Isn’t this a Lin type of situation? He can drop off unrestricted when his deal ends? Not that I don’t love the kid, but an established team can set his contract up were we are too much in a flux to do so?
Or.......
If Charlotte trades us their pick this year, and Zeller for Robinson, we take Wiseman and go long with development. this also makes Randle Expendable as we have a stretch big for next year. I’m not thinking of depth. This also makes Briggs happy.

They were rumoured to be going after Drummond if he opted out this offseason, now he isn't, it would indicate they'd be very high on Wiseman (unless MJ is still haunted by Kwame Brown). It gets interesting if TWolves go for Edwards and Warriors go for Wiseman (though likely Warriors will draft Ball and use him to trade down)

Wonder if they like Drummond so much if they would just back channel to him and figure out a contract range that works and wink at him to opt out. And then if so, draft BPA and know they have him on the hook later.

I can see the Hornets and Wolves working out a deal like that. Wolves would probably value #3 & Hornets lotto pick in 2021 over Edwards alone. Plus they have Malik Beasley & Culver.

ATM Lottery is looking like.

Hornets: Wiseman
Warriors: Edwards
Wolves: Toppin
Bulls: Ball
Cavs: Deni
Hawks: Hayes
Pistons: Haliburton
Knicks: Vassell
Wizards: Williams
Suns: Achiuwa
Spurs: Okongwu
Kings: Nesmith
Pelicans: Terry

He signed a 4yr deal with us after we drafted him. We will hold his full bird rights. Lin was signed as a FA that season and it came down to the NBA allowing us a provision to match if I remember correctly. They also changed the rules on 2nd round picks avoiding teams losing their players. But again it wouldn't matter since Robinson signed a 4 yr deal.
