did a little research and found this from 2018

Too soon for "Donovan Mitchell Coming Home"?
I guess the whole "Nepotism" narrative is been put to rest? Leon is just out there having fun using Dolans Credit card buying all kinds of talent!!
If any of you have spent time in Salt Lake City you uderstand why leaving for NYC is a good thing for these guys.

If you write CAA on a mirror, turn it upside down, put it infront of another mirror, the put a linen cloth on it, then turn it upside down agaon at a 45 degree angle, hold it over a triangle at 5:45 am in nova scotia at the top of the light house bluff out side of town, reflect the sun light with the turn of the of light house you can see true meaning: "Herb Williams is never done"!

A few things stand out about this hire:

1. They went young and probably hope he eventually succeeds Thibs (once Thibs hangs it up)
2. Obviously player development is the forefront. Young coach who clearly has connection with players
3. Another D Mitchell connection here.

Gotta love it! This hire came out of nowhere. A young, innovative coach with a knack for development. Great move!

I like the hires this front office has been doing from the bench to the analytics department overhaul. Again, im just worried how really on board is Thibs with all this coaching staff decisions. I know in the end for it to be official the head coach has to give his approval. My worry is, Thibs close relationship with the front office might backfire on him. Coz they are friends he cant say no to them. How is thibs in terms of analytics? Does he subscribe to it? If not, thats another potential sour point in the relationship in the future.

I really want thibs to succeed with the Knicks and be the long term coach a team yearning for stability craves. Just like our future stars RJ and Mitch, i hope Thibs is truly surrounded by assistants that can complement and work well will him so the team can succeed.

So far this new front office is showing they can hire desirable people, but the real test will be if we can poach superstars and sign them to play in York in the future.

I won’t get my hopes up but man would be amazing. I’ll trade picks until the end of time (not really) to get Mitchell, Barrett, and Mitch on the same team with a stretch 4 and a 3&D type PG.

Mitchell averaged 20pts 3.7rbs 3.7ass as a rookie. What exactly did he transform
him into?! Silly statement.

Miller needed to be retained and Woodson needs to be hired. Really need to fill out the bench.
