I defend Knox as one that has improved thru the season based on what I saw. |

If we're not lucky, he's out of the league when his rookie deal ends, or at least off our roster.Knox is a 1000x more athletic that Hubert Davis. They are nothing alike. I never liked the Knox pick but it is what it is. Point is he's a hyper athletic 20 year old with size and good shooting mechanics and not much else. Of course we have phucked up his development as well. Hopefully this staff can accomplish something with him. In fact he turns 21 tomorrow Missing how that is any different than Hubert Davis! Hyper athletic? What is that, because Kenny Walker was hyper athletic. Mitchell Robinson is Hyper Athletic. Kevin Knox is a 6'10" shooting guard. I'm missing the uber quickness and the jump out of the gym hyper athleticism you have witnessed. YouTube clip please? And how exactly is being a 6'10" Hubert Davis a bad thing? I love his shooting form. It reminds me of Alan Houston- the grace of it. Maybe that is the upside that would make you happy - a 6'10" Alan Houston? No defense, but a healthy dose of good outside shooting. And if Knox becomes a legit threat from 3, and puts up 15+/1 points - which is what a current Hubert Davis 10pts a game would be equivalent to in today's NBA- then I sure would be happy. Let's bookmark this thread and come back in 10 years, see if Knox has anywhere close to Davis' career stats: https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/d/davishu01.html |

![]() Hubie was a 4 year UNC player on some very good teams. Knox would be entering his senior year in college this year.
Seems Hubie did not play much his rookie year. Personally I see no similarities other than a good stroke. Hubie was a great long range shooter. |

![]() Knox got all the attributes to be a very good player. The problem with him is that he is not engaged all the time. It drives me crazy. He has the bball IQ. He has the length. Strength is coming. Shot is there. Then he ****ing starts picking daisies in the outfield. Hopefully Thibs can get him engaged all the time.

If DSJr, Frank, Knox are on the roster at beginning of year, I think all 3 (plus Mitch) will get a bump up in their play. DSJr will fight it the most and Mitch/Frank have the best shots at staying long term. Official sponsor of the PURE KNICKS LOVE Program

On a side note with the Taskmaster... I can't wait for Black Widow! |

![]() Now we've hired Kenny Payne, let's see how Knox does with a season of actually being coached and developed- Fiz was terrible for him.
