I was just informed about the news from Sebstar via IG (sorry to blow you up bro).... very sorry to hear. I go back to about 2002-2003 on this forum. That's a lot of years and guy have aged on here together. Lots of thoughts expressed in this space. Though I only know crushalot online in this forum, it's still very sad news. Prayers out to him and his family. Prayers to everyone here. I appreciate everyone here

Man I loved this dude.

Please send my sincerest condolences to his family and loved ones.

The man was a real staple of reason, respect and passion on here. Such a great pleasure to interact with leading to be one of my favorites over all the many years here for all of his qualities.

Beyond sad. I'm really hit by this so I can only imagine how those close to him must feel.

RIP Crushalot- very sorry to hear that. The responses here show his character came through this site- not everything online is petty and pointless. My condolences to his family and wishing the best for all of you out there.
If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

Once again a reminder of how fragile life truly is and how so many of life's moments remind us to keep sports in prospective.

A true class act and informative poster. Always looked forward to his posts and respected his level headed takes.

May he rest in peace. Condolences and prayers go out to his family. May god bring them comfort and peace.

I am saddened to hear this... he was one of my favorite posters here. He had some passionate opinions but he would reconsider if you provided sine good evidence. I imagine he was well liked in the classroom. RIP my friend

Heartbreaking news. I've posted with him for well over a decade. A calming influence among angry voices. We may only have connected over the internet but the measure of the man was evident for all to see. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones.

I'm very sad to hear this. I remember Crush through the years. His voice will be missed. I'm sure there are other voices on forums that I no longer see post that have passed away but this is the first time I can ever remember getting actual confirmation of such. Hope there's a field of dreams type situation for CrushAlot to interact with Knicks legends from the past.

I was hoping do much to get the number 1 pick for the Knicks but also for the legacy of Crushalot.
It would’ve been fitting for us to get pick 1 this year but alas crushalot will still pull along with us from above.

Wow. I haven't checked into UK for months and my first time back (barely interested in NYK or NBA right now, given everything happening around us) I see this news! How awfully sad. While I didn't know him personally, I always appreciated his thoughtfulness in posting and his intelligence. Terrible loss and sad news. RIP CrushAlot.
