Brewer is much better than Moochie.

I think you can safely say that just about every PG in the league is better than Moochie!
True enough, but it's good know we won't have to see Moochis cause of Brewer.

I really like how crawford goes after rebounds and him and Ariza running the break if like a dream come true. Thank you Isiah!
I also think Brewer is a million times better than Moochie!

Ariza and Brewer impressed me. So did Crawford, but I could feel it coming.

We started off strong and we finished strong. That's a good first step, now all we need to do is stay solid throughout. But this is a preseason game and it was a bench unit, so if we have to make mistakes, that was a good time to make them.

Many thanks to all of you who kept us coverage deprived fans in the game.Penny was forcing some shots when he first came to the Knicks last season but he got smarter as the season progressed, hopefully that will be the case again.Damn! I cant wait to see Ariza play from what you guys are saying. Its so great to have homegrown talent! Too bad about Nazr, hopefully he can work it out in the pre-season.did Baker get any PT? How did he do?

On a crappy note I have to go on a trip from december until february so I wont be able to catch the Knicks with the league pass until then.Major Fing bummer. But at least I know where to go to learn whats really going on with the team.

For those of you who want the stats of the Knicks, there it is. You can see Ariza had a very nice game, Sweets got double digits in the rebounds and shot very well from the woul line. Crawford shot a lot but had a nice game. Nazr's starts look just horrible...

Anyone watch Sweetney closely? I dont think he has lost much weight but I also think he is slower than he was last year in the playoffs. I hope its just that he has to knock some rust off.

The backcourt looks amazing. It great to finally have a SG that can do more than jump shoot. The sequence at the top of the key where Crawford had some amazing cross overs and went up for the long three was great. He also goes after a lot of rebounds like Guns pointed out. His block on the dude he was guarding shows some promise on defense. His passing was also great.

Ariza showed good defensive and some good offensive ability. Baker looked ok, Crazy eyes and Nazr held their own IMO. TT was a little slower too but that dunk he had was amazing. We need more scoring from our front line and hopefully it wont be much of an issue. Overall, I think the Knicks were great tonite and will be able to build on this well.

yeah, Sweetney still looked big, but he was much more athletic and much faster. i saw him run down the court real fast, while kurt was still behind.

I think Sweetney physique suits him perfectly. like Silver said he just has to shake off the rust. He strikes me as being a slow starter. I mean look at last year and this year in summerleague. He was pretty bad the fist couple of games getting into foul trouble etc. But towards the end he was getting 30pts and 15rebs

...and to believe that this was just the 1st game of the season.
We haven't seen a damn thing yet. Imagine what this squad will look like by the holidays???

This thing is for real...and a sight for sore eyes.
It's gonna be sick! Knicks, baby!
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Nazr is ****in useless.... and yall sleep on KT so hard... we need to start KT at center and Sweetney at PF.. bring nazr off the bench

there are 4 players i do not like on our team:

Nazr, TT, SHandon, Moochie... the rest are good.. we need to get rid of those 4, weather it be by puttin them on the bench.. or trading them

I hate to say it - but I agree - KT shuold probably be the starting 5 with Sweets at the 4....2nd unit can be Nazr and JYD or Baker - KT at least has some game.

I was saying the same thing and getting killed for it. It's a lot easier once KT hits some shots yesterday

I didn't have a chance to watch the game. However, from what I have read so far, it appears that there are a lot of excitement in our camp. Good win Knicks. We are back

Don't want to nitpick or anything, but Jamal stole that ball and started the fast break by passing it to Brewer :)
