they are already talking about shutting him down for a period. He's got swelling even after light workouts.

I've had my knee completely reconstructed. When you get sweeling after moderate activity it means there is usually debris that causes excessive friction and needs to be removed.

Not good... hopefully they dont boo him for it

That's no good at all. It is too bad it has come down to his balky knee in his prime. Wait a min, this sound too familiar with a certain Knicks player...

Difference is that Allan's knee isn't swelling after he goes through his own workouts, and he can still be a nice force, coming in for 25- 30 mins a game.

Agreed. I think the Knicks are being far more realistic as far as what to expect from their star than the Kings are.

Allan is much farther along in his rehab after a far less serious injury.

I agree Houston's knee is in better shape than Webber's and playing him 25 to 30 (I'd probably stay closer to 28) is a good idea. I just really hope he can hold up for a full 82 game season playing that many minutes.
