Sold out already? For an open practice??? Wow...
I was just tralking to Wood about that a few days ago. The Knicks should do that throughout the season; it can generate a LOT of fan support and exposure.

We're going to the game tomorrow, which helps me not to feel so bad about not getting tickets for Sunday in time.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

You got it Hardcore!! Can't wait for us two to see the Knicks vs. San Antonio on saturday @ the MSG.. Should be real fun to see the old crowd again... Remember, we got about 25 games this season to attend.. The excitement is BACK!!!
The Future. GO KNICKS!

It was a great time. I got to see Ariza fly all over the place. It was definately a good time. I took a friend from Atlanta to MSG who said MSG was definately the 'mecca' of basketball. We might have had the worst seats in the house. Section 423 in the nose bleeds but it was a perfect view. No seat in the garden is a bad seat. Anyone know if I can get season tickets for that section?

The greatest time came when Houston was introduced and booed. It made my day. I am happy that most Knick fans by booing showed management that sticking with Houston is not the way to go. Not like it wasnt obvious to begin with but it was great to find majority of the Knick fans were just like me.

A few things that were scary:
1) Sweetney got stuffed by the rim when he went up for the dunk
2) Crawford and dribble all he wants but he is not the best at finishing his shot yet
3) TT looked slower than he did last year
4) Nazr played little or no defense.

i was there, great seats, same row next to isiah by the exit ramp. they stretched, ran drills, and then a 3 quarter (10 min/quarter) scrimmage. john andareise mc'd and was talking throughout the warmups (streches, 2 on 3's, etc) and interviewed, mike saunders, john starks, lenny, and isiah.

notables:

1. after the scrimmage, there was a question/answer period and when h20's name was called, it was a mixed reaction with many boos

2. moochie is like the old man at the bbq always having a good time and talking up a storm

3. ariza plays above the rim more than any other knick in the past 15 years and is aggressive as heck.

4. jamal was on a breakaway and did his dribble through the legs and threw it off the backboard to dunk but tim was trailing and thought he was going to get a pass back and they ran into each other resulting in nothing.

5. my boy sweetney, after a foul was called, tried to dunk it straight up standing under the rim and caught a spasm that drew some ire from the fans.

6. funny side bit, when menge batteer was huffing and puffing out there, we asked isiah if he gave him a guaranteed contract. he looked back and said "no" then proceeded to laugh.

after the scrimmage, since i'm a season ticket holder, we were allowed to go to midcourt and take a picture by the knicks sign on the floor. pretty cool and a nice thing to do for the fans. just opening up msg and doing this must've cost them at least 500G's.

i took pics but have nowhere to post them.

So, did he laugh because he was lying or because it was a silly question? Did you ask why he laughed? I know he wouldn't give a legit answer, but I would have asked how he planned to keep Ariza even though he didn't have Ariza's Bird rights.
