Fast, small lineup. I'm not sure if Lenny will be comfortable putting ariza in at key points in the game just yet. We'll probably have to see how he performs in preseason (at least) first.

Could be a potent fsat lineup tho, Training camp stories have said that Ariza runs the fast break really well.

those articles have said barrett can run teh fast break pretty awesome. if you really wanted to go small and fast, replace marbury with the little guy. it would be fun to watch, at least. don't think we'll see much of ariza or barrett this season, much less together.

Barret's going to the Nets. Unfortunately....but bank on it!

TT=weak link. If he wants to step up this year, then fine.

That's an interesting lineup to try if we want to dictate the tempo and run like crazy. It'd really work if the following things happened:
(modeling the nets of 1-2 years ago)
- Nazr played tough D/did the smart stuff (not too hard, he's just supposed to act like jason collins except be a lot better, which he his)
- TT ran the break all the time and kept trying to free himself for explosive dunks and alleyoops.
- Ariza imitated Jefferson and gave highlight reel dunks all the time.
- Crawford became a reliable shooter, who also can finish on the break.
- Marbury just laid back and directed the offense.

That would be a great lineup to have, perhaps potentially better than the Nets at running the break. We could just do that lineup to finish off games or to get some more fans to come or something

WOW, thats what you call Quick Lightning but TT @ 4 creates a problem on the defensive end..

He's not knowned to be a post up defender. At times he will be exposed but this particular lineup reminds me alot like the old portland Trailblazars from the late 80's early 90's.

C. Nazr C. Kevin Duckworth
PF TT PF. Buck Williams
SF Ariza Sf. Cliff Robinson

You don't need four guys who can run the fast break. You really need just two or three. You won't get many fast break opportunities if you don't get stops on defense anyway.
