I think Houston will start on the IR too. I don't expect Shandon to be on the active roster. If he won't go on the IR, Zeke will trade him for anything or just buy him out. I don't think we'll ever see Shan in a Knicks uni again.

I think this is more likely:

Steph, Brewer, Moochie
Craw, Hardaway
TT, Ariza
KT, Sweets, JYD
Nazr, Baker

IR: Bateer, H20, Sundov

Buyout: Anderson

if houston starts teh season on the IR, does he have to miss the minimum 5 games? or is it different because its the beginning of the season?

if he would have to miss the first 5, i think he'll be on the active roster even if he sits a game or two.

I'll bet any of you a nickel that Shandone is not on the Knicks opening roster. IR or buyout are each as likely as roster, IMO. Trade vs. roster about even money. He adds too little to put up with his ill will, which can't help the team.

Houston will likely sit at least the first ten games. People need to realize they are seriously bringing him SLOWLY. I think this is a very wise decision. I'd rather have a healthy Houston come March/April/May then a hesistant one right now who is only going to hurt himself.

When Houston comes back, I think either Moochie or Brewer will go on the IR, depending on who is playing better. My money's on Brewer sticking around longer, if only because Zeke LOVES him.

Briggs, are you serious about the image analysis thing? Did Tim Thomas really put on weight as well? That guy is so huge, the fact that he's our biggest player in many ways and a SF is insane. I just looked up the series he had against KMart in the 03 playoffs while TT was on the Bucks - man, he killed Kmart starting at the PF that series...hence all the bitterness between them...

Atta boy! "Brilliant work"!

I say we can rebuild him, make him faster, stronger, better!

Nextime, use a parametric screen with a bottom up, negative down oscalator dividend model to correlate that, which is uncorralated to align the beta and alpha, to the R2 to determine put to call ratio and invert the overt indices to gain your deductive purpose.

The answer: Sell Enron short! Ha, fool proof!

Briggy, You know Im NASD? Mad retail! Its a living.

You guys are too funny..

Going back to the topic, I think Mgmt will start H20 on the I.R. and give Crawford a chance to start @ SG.

Allan's game is critcal but not immediately. He's shooting is definitely needed sometime later in the season especially getting ready for the playoffs...

Watch Craw shine at that starting 2-spot. Allan's gonna come back with the same situation that KT is facing (with Sweets gunning for his spot). Players will have to earn their spots this year...

Isiah is setting this team up so there's competition @ almost every position. By the time he's done tweaking the roster in a year or so, we'll see a well-oiled competitive Championship contender machine.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I almost didn't read the "in a year or so". The knicks will need atleast 3 more years to contend for title. Houston's contract has to be off the books before we can do anything major to contend.
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
