i dont know if this was posted but Kmart responded to Tim thomas's challenge.

"I don't have time for kids, man," Martin said. "I have kids at home."

I still think Tim Thomas can kick his ass.

Kenyon might have crafted a nice response to the whole thing, but he is not a pillar of maturity.

Let's see who plays basketball better this year. I'm cheering for Tim.

Kenyon Martin has achieved a lot more in his career than Tim THomas. Until Thomas delivers on the court it's all posing from him.

Cmon, dont kid yourself. Kenyon can kick TT's *** on and off the court. Theres no evidence that it would be otherwise.

Drink the kool aid, and you'll see not other way. TT can kick box the living poop out of anyone except Batman!

And any thing you say otherwise makes you a hater! and we don't take much kind to anyone whom speaks ill of THE Father.

Now go away!

I take TT all week and twice on Sunday.

Anyone stupid enough to tattoo a baby on his shoulder

gets no respect in the hood

Stutterin'-ass bastard. Hope he tears an ACL.
Let it be known: I believe in the Knicks this year-- deep into the playoffs, I swear to you my brothers...

Are you kidding me? I hope you're kidding me. Tim Thomas DESTROYED Kmart in the 2003 playoffs when he was on the Bucks. He averaged 18.8 ppg on him and was the reason the Bucks took the Nets to a deciding game. Kmart's only response was a plethora of cheap fouls and cheap talk. And yes, I know TT is a SF, but he played PF in that series because Kmart is so weak. Desmond Mason was the starting SF for the Bucks.

Kmart is an overrated cry baby. For him to call someone a child is cute, but it's kind of like the pot calling the kettle black. Tim Thomas is immature too, but he wasn't lying when he called Kmart 'Fugazy'.

As big a Knicks fan as I am, K-Mart is undoubtedly the better basketball player (thus far in their careers).

As for a boxing match, I have no idea who would win because we don't know who the better fighter is. I'd pay to watch it, though.

i'd pay in a heartbeat.
as for game, timmy got'em beat. kenyon might have the athletisism, but there's no way kenyon's a better ball player. we'll see this year now that gazy does'nt have kidd spoon-feeding him layups and dunks all night.

No, K-Mart's the one who's been to the all-star game and NBA finals and gets about twice as many rebounds and blocks as TT. He's flat out the better player right now. Like K-Mart himself said, you could take a poll around the league and people would take him over TT overwhelmingly.

KMart is fake tough guy all rite, I mean just take a look at who he picks his fight on

Getting into a fight with Desmond Mason (yup all 6'5 of him)
Throwing a punch at T-Mac
Insulting an ailing Zo
Calling out Mr. Softie KVH
And now this feud with TT

He only picks on softies (sorry u included too TT ;) ), swingmens and guys with kidney problems. Oh yeah I forgot, there was that thing with Nene, whom he actually gave a cheapshot, really classy of you huh K-Fart??

I remember one time he got fouled by Big Ben but he didnt know it was him. He got all worked up and stuff but when he turned around saw it was Big Ben he just shut up and let it go. That was real tough.

Yeah, people would take Kmart first. But I'm beginning to wonder why. If he's such a tough defender - why is he always getting LIT UP by the likes of Drew Gooden and Juwan Howard? Why has he never averaged 10 rebounds a game? Why do people say he's such a great power player when he has no chance in hell at guarding the elite power forwards like KG and TD? Everytime I start thinking Kmart is as good as the hype, he chokes in a big game like Tony Parker.

Kmart is overrated and TT is probably underrated. And for all Kmart's fronting, he's always getting into fights with smaller players or players I respect like Zo or Nene. Let's see him pick a fight with Ben Wallace if he's so tough.

One thing I would say is that TT has scored repeatedly on Kmart in head to head matchups. If Kmart is so 'elite' why is a small forward scoring on him? TT is unguardable by most small forwards in this league. Kmart gets shut down or outscored by more than half the league at his position. People might take Kmart first because he rebounds more and plays better D, but Tim Thomas is better at the SF position than Kmart is at the PF position.

he also punched Nene (all 6'11 of him)

And if you consider height to be the determinent of toughness, well TT is taller than Kmart.

You have to really have your knick glasses (and need a new presciption) to thing TT is better then K-Mart. TT has had one good playoff series and six years of so-so ball. I'd be amazed if there was one GM in the theleague who would give Kmart for TT.

I know this is old news by now, but:
Martin built a reputation as a fierce practice player during his four seasons with the Nets, and no one was exempt from his fire.

Martin nearly came to blows with teammate Alonzo Mourning last year after taunting Mourning about his kidney ailment and took a swing at Nene during a practice game last week.

No time for "kids"? I can't believe kids idolize these players sometimes...
