He is coming back...I think he would be a great gamble and the Knicks should sign him. I know he is kind of damaged goods, but he is such a nice guy, and since he killed Cristophi, he's a bad ass and that's exactly what IT wants...Just like the bad boys of the 90's...Word.

You buggin he's coming back?

That would be crazy.....He was one of my favorite players when he was doing his thing in New Jersey.

He's a murderer though man....that's just bad business. It's like giving OJ a job on the Best Damn Sports show. That would just bug everyone the heck out....him cracking jokes or talking about football.

I could see Tom Arnold now...."Geez bro, you killed her didn't you?"

They said it on ESPN not that long ago today on TV. I'd love to see Williams on the Knicks.

makes sense. If you know your window is 1 or 2 years, go to the team with the best shot.

I agree. This guy should be locked up. I like him as a player, but this guy did the ultimate crime, took someone else's life away.
Second chances only go so far.

ALRIGHT! now if the Giants can only convince OJ to come out of retirement & be their short yardage specialist, we'll be all set!

LOL Good post, and good analogy.
Funny thing is, both OJ and Jayson Williams were found Not Guilty of murder.

I doubt Jayson WIlliams will come back anyway. If he does, won't he owe the Nets about $60M (the remainder of his contract @ the time of his retirement)?

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Jason Williams has lost a lot of his bulk, and thats what was key to his rebounding, I saw him playing a couple of weeks ago, and he looked fair, he was running the court well, and getting to the basket, but he was way off on all his shots. He would provide minimal, but that was weeks ago, so maybe he is in better shape and has his legs....He didn't look close to the old Jason, though

People wouldn't mind a guy who shot someone in the chest and tried to hide it? He wasn't found not guilty, there was a hung jury from my understanding and he will stand trial again.

Although I felt bad for Jayson and I dont think the murder was pre-meditated, he is a murdering douche and I wouldn't want him anywhere near the Knicks.

Id personally rather have 50 Cent play Power Forward than Jayson Wiliams. At least Fitty doesn't hide the facts and get Benoit Benjamin and the Globetrotters to cover for him.

Dang, I thought you guys were talking about Jay Williams from Duke for awhile, and was confused as hell when some of you were trashing him, then I realized you were talking about Jason Willians, the murderer from the Nets. lol
