We finally get to see something involving the Knicks besides Marbury at the Athen's Olympics...Anyone know what the first episode will entail? Hopefully an interview or two from Jamal and JYD! I love JYD's attitude.

The first episode is supposed to be all about Marbury and mostly his summer.

This is supposed to be a biweekly show, right?

I remember that Jerome Williams was interviewed by Steve Summers on WFAN and he kept on laughing with him and telling him that's so happy to be on the Knicks. This is what we need. Players with the desire to want to play in the best city in the world.

That's too bad. I guess I just read what I want to.
Still, bi monthly is better than nothing.

Exactly. We have had more than enough of the lethargic, "laid back" style from the Knicks players. We had enough of that mess when LayDown was here. Hopefully Isiah will get the whole roster on that same page, where all the players comprehend just how fortunate they are to be playing for the Knicks.

I hope the new show gets in-depth with the players and coaching staff. I'll definitely watch it tonight.

BTW, anyone who lives outside of NY and has DirecTV should still be able to get MSG.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Looks like its about stuff not related to basketball! Anyone else think Stephon Marbury was not prepared and sounds like an idiot on the show?

Does NJ count? Thank god I got MSG

it was just a REAL close up headshot of Stephon Marbury telling the audience about his roots in Coney Island, his experience in Athens, his charity events he runs in Coney Island, how much he loves Coney Island, & some other stuff about Coney Island...

did i mention he's from Coney Island?

Yeah, it's gonna be on again tonight at 7:30.

Hopefully it's more basketball related once the season gets going.
I do love how when Marbs talks about the Olympics, he really does sound like he took something from that experience.

But seriously, I was starting to get annoyed after Marbs started everything off with, "It was like, 'Wow..."

The last two posts basically hit it. TMS, you are exactly right it was a real closeup headshot of Marbury. I was watching with a friend and we were discussing how Marbury head was either on the extreme left, extreme right, front and center, or it was a really close closeup. I think they spent about 10 dollars making this show.

And MATT is exactly right too...Marbury said "It's like wow!" after everything...even the negative things. Not to make light of the situation, but when he was talking about how a friend of his goy shot he said "It was like wow." But when he was asked about breaking the Olympic scoring mark he also said "It was like wow."

It would have been a lot better if the spent a few minutes prepping Marbruy so that he would come off better on camera, even if that took away from some of the candidness. And please spend a few bucks more on production....they used one shot in the gym of all places...at least take him into the studio, or maybe interview him while walking down the streets of Brooklyn. Seriously it was not a good show. I figured it would be like the "Penny's New York" segment they did at halftime of one game last year, but this was more bland.
