I have a hot artisit and I'm trying to make a new NY Knicks song (Rap version of course). The thing is I need some sounds that remind u guys of the Knicks so that way the element would be familiar. If you guys can pass me sounds and samples that would be good email it to Bizzy211@walla.com. Give me a week and I'll post one of my songs I produced so u can hear my work. Thanks.

Bizzy,what kind of setup do you have? What sequencer,beatmaker gear etc..? I make beats myself.

sorry, don't have any samples or anything, but i would suggest you include some soundbites of Mike Breen's trademark "BANG!" & Marv Albert's trademark "YESS!" calls...maybe a few Clyde-isms would be cool too.

We are currently using a mix of software and hardware.
Roland Phatom S keyboard, which my boy owns, we export or sounds into Reason 2.5 (I like ACID my self) and the recording is done in Sonar or Cool Edit Pro.
Beat making is done with Fruity Loops or MPC. What about you (Kwazimodal)?
Thanks for tha tips TMS I'll try to get some. If someone have some tapes or something of those sounds, then that'll be great.

I have mostly software,had to sell most of my gear when I ran into some unexpected expenses a few years back.Ive got:

An early Acid,Sound Forge,Cool edit pro

..and a bunch more,most of it are warez that I got before they started cracking down and they work well with the exception of Logic 5 which is kind of buggy.If you want,I will burn what I have to disc and send it to you.Only do that for fellow Knick fans!

You definately need to update on some programs, but what kind of music do you make? I have to finish mastering this song I just finished recording last night, but when it is done, I'll let you hear it. If u think there are some stuff I can use feel free to send it. I definately appreciate your comrodity (i hope i spelled it correctly) to a fellow knicks fan.
