Is it the heat?

The guy behind me today on a main road was rubbing his tires against the curb. I pulled into the center lane to get the f*** clear of him, and he sped past me and nearly hit the car that had been immediately in front of me. He had to swerve into the center lane not to hit them.

Clearly ****faced.

Then I ran into a store, and an old wrinkly tanned-brown woman with ruby red lipstick was asking nonstop questions of the poor lone girl working there. The girl couldn’t even get a word in, it was unnatural. Somehow I was able to get my **** and get out. The wrinkly hag yammering the entire time. Severe ADHD or something. If I had an ice pick I would have put my eardrums out of their misery. I legitimately felt bad for the girl.

Somehow I made it to my next stop without getting hit, as one car after another, with morons looking at their phones, were drifting out of their lanes. Par for the course.

Now I’m in store number two, and a woman and her hell-spawn are completely blocking the aisle. She says sorry, and proceeds to just stand there reading the ingredients on a package of Cup of Soup. I turn around in disgust, and she yells at me “I said I was sorry!”. There’s a 100% chance her kids will be *******s too one day.

I ask an employee where the Poppi soda is (that **** is delicious) and he says very clearly “go to aisle G37”. Turns out G37 is yard tools.

I go to grab eggs, and there’s an old couple standing right in front of them. The old guy saying “if you want eggs… get eggs” to his wife. Somehow they are both ignoring the fact that I’m standing there, waiting for them to make their monumental decision. After a full minute of this I abort grocery shopping and leave in disbelief.

I stop by the pizza place and order two things. He forgets what I asked for and I remind him a couple of times. I ordered to go, but he was setting me up to stay. He put my stuff in the oven, and I **** you not, about 5 seconds later opened the door and took my stuff right back out. I asked for sauce, and when I got home found I got none.

On the way home, got cut off by somebody that was not even looking. I could see it unfolding, otherwise I would have gotten slammed. Looked like a soccer mom in a Lincoln Navigator talking on her phone.

And now I’m home and apparently a fly the size of small bird found his way inside my house.

F*** this Sunday. And this island. Although I didn’t get rear-ended or side-swiped, so I guess I’ll call it a win.

Since we arent picking in the first round, going to watch season 4 of "The Bear" tonite. The last season got bad reviews, but I liked the crew trying to run an upscale restaurant.

Still haven't watched the last season. I prefer watching that show in batches. Too many emotional ups and downs for me to watch in single episode clips. I need to wash the the bitter down quickly with sweet. And that show definitely has more of the latter.

Season 1 was great. Season 3 I barely remember.

Watched the last season of Squid Games. Much better than the 2nd which felt like a placeholder season.

Looking forward to the next season of Alice in Borderland.

South Park has new episodes next month. Most of their time is spent on specials, which is a shame.

Star Trek Strange New Worlds new season starts next month as well, ended on a great cliffhanger.

Watching the new season of The Bear. I like it. Ive enjoyed the sometimes frenetic pace of the show. This season is more chill so far, and I like that too. Dont see many shows where the supporting cast are biggers stars than the stars of the show, which is cool.

Finished that a couple of weeks ago. Really good show. Helen Mirren is great at being crazy.

Ha-yes she was. I remember watching it at the Beekman Theater in NY.

I'm watching the last season now. It's better than I expected. I really liked the episode where the NIN instrumental player throughout. It game a feeling of claustrophobia throughout. I felt like I was trapped in Carm's effed head. The Tina episode was also really heartwarming.

I put her in the same section as Natalie Dormer. An ugly hot woman. A lot of sex appeal.

Question. Is Dexter worth the investment of time? It is 8 seasons plus the new seasons of New Blood and Original Sin. I watched some episodes in the first season then I stopped subscribing to Showtime.
