Awesome series.
Just finished season 4. The only letdown was Adrian Brody's Don Corleone wannabe accent. Surprised the producers wanted him to go that route.

I didn't mind it. I also really liked Tom Hardy here. However, I like him in anything he does.

Yeah, that's the thing when you bring in guys like that. If you bring Adrien Brody and he tells you what direction he wants to go, you can't really tell him no.

I see your point. Brody is a first rate actor, surprised he wanted to go that route. If he hadn’t made his voice so raspy..

Just watched the first episode of “The Penguin”. Really enjoyed it. Didn’t realize when I first saw The Batman, that it was Colin Farrell. One of the all time great transformations by an actor. Not the prosthetics, but his voice, mannerisms.

One of the worse examples I can remember of this is when Susan Sarandon did the Children of Dune miniseries on the SyFy network. She is a huge Frank Herber fan and there wasn't much starpower on the cast. There was a young James Macilvoy and I can't remember anyone else. Sarandon brought this weird Southern Belle vibe that really clashed with general aesthetics of the series. Almost like watching Scarlett O'Hara running around on a spice plantation.

In the last few days NBA League Pass and HBO Max both auto-renewed on me. Doh!

Just a reminder to my brothers here to stay on top of that ****.

On the bright side, I’m watching some January action right now, and the first episode of the Penguin was pretty darn good.

Finished Penguin and it's better than it has any right being. Straddles a fine line between being kinda cheesy at times to being brutal and intense. And I'm not talking about the action. The actors are really bringing it. Also Sophia Falconer has my vote for ultimate Dom mommy, if you're into that sort of thing.

I’m also fan of Cristin Milioti. Thought she was great in the “Black Mirror” “USS Callister” episode, which they are making a sequel. Which I believe is a first for that show.

Looking forward to the next Matt Reeves Batman, which is my favorite of all the Batman films.

Finished watching "Peaky ****ing Blinders" great series, finale. Didnt know one of the actors died late in the series. Sad to find this out.

Finished watching "Wednesday" fun series, great casting, the writing was very good. My favorite thing from Tim Burton since "Beetlejuice". Looking forward to another season

Wednesday was cute with good writing. I thought it slowed down a bit and was not a fresh toward the end. It happens.
Her facial expressions and delivery gave the character a lot. Over all fans of "Stranger Things" and "Harry Potter" will enjoy it.
Peaky we did a few years back and it really took off. The ending was very good and looking forward to the movie they are shooting presently.

I often mention "Boardwalk Empire" to fans of Sopranos, good fellas, and Godfather. Its a Martin Scorsese production and he does a bit of direction. Very underrated and well done period piece.

Slow Horses on Apple is our current favorite and we are also watching "Penguin" on Max.

Couldnt get into Boardwalk Empire, which surprised me considering who was behind it.

Am I missing something, or is Disney+ crap?

I renew in two days, but have my finger on the cancel button.

The Marvel stuff has been pretty bad, and Start Wars even worse. I think Agatha All Along is my tipping point.

Yeah, I've felt the same way for the past few months. Their saving grace has been Hulu. I'm watching Snowfall right now. Shogun and Hit Monkey where also awesome. Also a good stable of movies. Nice to be able to watch a random Alien or Terminator move while doing chores.

Yeah, Boardwalk Empire kinda dragged in later seasons. But there were enough compelling performances from Buscemi, Michael Shannon, Michael Williams, Stephen Graham, Bobby Canavale, Jeffrey Wright and Charlie Cox to keep me hooked. I'm sure I'm missing some, like Gretchen Mol as the unrealistically hit milf. Boardwalk Empire might've better off a miniseries.

Run... LOL.

Nah, these would probably be for around the house, walking the dogs, interviews.

I'd wear them around the town, but I should probably save some hotties for the rest of you.

Im a bit of a sneaker head at times. I have some 10 pairs but they all get used for various purpose. Im not a fan of the feel of those large soles that are very popular. Mostly they feel a bit mushy also and not supportive. Color is subjective but I tend to not go with a loud color like orange/lime/yello unless its greatly on sale and for workouts mostly.

"interviews"? I'd go low key color for a more neutral impression in any interaction that is important to my work or image. Really depends on your age, occupation and environment. Again, its subjective.

Those Hoka soles border on ridiculous.

But I bet they are comfortable.

10 pairs, Nalod? That seems excessive. Although I have you beat.

One thing I like about Brooks is the heel cushioning never seems to bunch up. I can only speak for the Glycerin though.

Maybe I'll use these orange ones if I ever interview with Crayola.
