Does anyone think he will go too far if he does?

Personally I don't think he will because He is pulling the strings and the lineups are his anyway.

I don't think so. I think he's going to find that he likes GM'ing more than coaching.

Unless he gets a team out there that is going to really make noise Isiah will continue to be the GM, but the second he builds the Knicks into a contending team, he would love to get behind the bench

ditto. he'll get a lot of recognition where he is, and though he surely have a lot of pressure right now, if it works, his job will be lees tiring and risky than being a coach.

After all, if he succeed as a gm and seeing how he does everything he can to get all the spotlight (which I truly don't care about as long as we're improving), he'll be a king in NYC.

He will be the coach in about two more years. By then, he will have the pieces in place to make some serious noise.

I don't know that I like Chaney as the coach - but I'm not sold on Isiah either. Very few great players make good coaches and from what I've seen of Isiah so far I'm not convinced he is an exception to the rule.

Its rare that a person who is GM and head coach in any sport does a good job running a team.I dont want to see him coach unless he hands the GM duties to an independent minded GM that isnt just a rubber stamp for Isiah and knows what he is doing.

Isiah stars on a broadway adaptation of

"The Passion"

I like Isiahs kick but methoed. He can spend daddy dolans money how ever he wants, and is high profile cheerleader!

As long as the team responds, it will be fun.

If not, we'll drag him thru the streets like Mussolini!

Worse yet - we'll send him into an off-campus deli to damn B. Knight with faint praise!!
