Is Houston the "new Mills" now? We going to see him stick around the FO, while one exec after another goes in and out the door?

Miller and Perry are the two employees who have made a good case to stay. They will likely be the first two fired by Rose, and replaced with who, Houston? Jackson? Sentimental BS, if this is the route we're taking.

My preference is for Perry to stay on as the GM. The fact that he moved Morris for a pick instead of chasing after Russell or Rozier shows that Perry has a long term plan to rebuild which is much needed for this franchise. With that said, with a new Prez coming on board, more than likely he will want to make his own hire. If thats the case I wouldn't have too much of a problem with Houston. Not so much that he's a former Knick or a sentimental pick, but he's put in the work for years, in Westchester and with the organization. Houston is the only former Knick I can tolerate....For the record, I want no parts of Jackson, Van Gundy or Thibs!!!

You raise a good point about Houston being the new Mills, a Dolan guy, which is why Houston may be a candidate. it is a scary thought, to extent but Houston just may be the guy for the job.

The former All-Star, 48, is currently the GM of the G-League affiliate in Westchester and has been a Knicks executive since 2008, surviving multiple regime changes while being groomed for a larger role. He also served as the Knicks assistant GM before and during Phil Jackson’s tenure.

How has Perry made a good case to stay, his last 10 yrs in a FO position has been a disaster...no playoffs

He hasn't been part of a winning FO since 2004 where he had a minor role...and his draft record (if he had any say in the matter) as been suspect at best

that would seem to trump Houston's track record of involvement with this franchise!
