He’s a Leon rose client, getting booed at home, and a poor fit next to Simmons. Has a long term deal but i believe it’s heavily protected in case of continued injury. Is Embiid a decent fit with Barrett? Barrett has a lot of similarities to Simmons but is a better shooter and more of a true wing than lead guard. I wouldn’t be surprised if he finds a way to get him here around draft time then makes a big push for VanVleet. Rose is going to make moves, especially hiring Van Gundy, Thibs or Jackson.

this will depend on cost. No f-ing way this guy is worth anything like the AD or PG deals.

Who are the surrounding Embiid with? He's a TERRIBLE offensive player. Do not let his PPG fool you. He's great on the FT line and point blank. This would be a typical Isiah move which is in the CAA sphere.

Cousins?

I don't see a deal to be made. Philly would want a proven all star calibre player in return at minimal in order to maintain championship contention. They aren't going to move Embiid for lotto pick, future assets, &/or prospects.

Maybe and Embiid for KP would make sense for both teams in the future????

Yeah i would see a 3-team trade. Maybe Randle, Mitch, and Frank to Philly. Our 1st round pick and next year's dallas pick to a third team bringing back a high level starter to philly.

I can also see the knicks trying to get Fox or Hield from Sacramento. I think the other big targets of Towns and Booker are obviously a couple years away at the very least.

Why is it assumed Rose would want Emiid? Just because he was his client? That's it? Are we to assume Rose wants all his Ex clients to be knick players, coaches or execs?
That almost as good as "Rich Kleinman is a life long knick fan, He is Durants agent"............
Rose also understands Emiid's pros and cons to his game or personality. For all we know Rose won't touch him with a 10 ft pole!

I think he's going to Miami if he's moving, but we're a dark horse.

Very good point, it's very possible.

if you see him in person you see how in pain he looks doing simple walking around between stoppage in action

Yep. Maybe throw in Olynyk as a salary ballast. I'm not sure how the salary works, but Miami's cap situation looks good a season from now. Jimmy is probably whispering in Joel's ear right now about how his life is so much better since he left Philly.

Saying someone is a better shooter than Simmons is like saying someone has better management skills than IT.

Is he worth maxing out though? For maybe 60-65 games a season?
