![]() Kudos to Mills and Perry for passing on the KI/Durant traveling circus - shows their intellect in avoiding yet another Knicks long-term embarrassment.
Personally I liked what they attempted to do this summer and it may yet pay off. Like every Knicks fan including ownership and the FO, there has been a distinct, unexpected meltdown given the expectations. Had DSJ been merely a disappointment rather than an all-NBA bust, this team would have been better. Had Randle played up to expectations early in the season, we would have won more games. Had Ellington simply maintained an average season of hitting 3 pointers, we would have won more games. Had Fizdale had a clue as to understanding schedule, the importance of winning winnable games, or anything about players and plays we would have won more games. As fans, we have to stop believing that there's bad judgment or bad will involved. These guys are trying they're damnedest to put together a winning team. Its hard and its maddening. Correcting mistakes is the way out of it. The FO didn't dig a hole. They took some risks and some worked out and others didn't. We are on our way to better days difficult a sthe present is. The blame game is simply not the way out. It results in lateral moves we already are too familiar with. Let's make some sensible corrections and see how this season plays out. |

You’d get first row seats but you’d have to put up with Dolan, and would have to praise his management of the Knicks during and after every game- how long until you cracked?! |

Seems to me that Dolan's frustration is our frustration. Many of us called out Fizdale much earlier than Dolan did. He only interfered when the MSG experience feedback loop made it self-evident that something had to change. All companies have non-disclosure agreements. The Daily News probably has one. Every NBA team has them. I'm not sure what the point is. Is Bondy implying that Fizdale has some worthwhile insight he hasn't already expressed regarding the team? That is, if he were owner he would do what differently? The Dolan bashing is dreary. He spends a fortune on hiring great talent to administer a business that conducts itself based on lotteries, the hiring of athletes who are near morons to perform consistently, and of entourages of low-life agents, prostitutes and grifters to deal with. What could go wrong? |

If this guy was not the owners of the knicks we might even like him. But we don’t. He is a petulant little shyt regarding the knicks and MSG. Panic moves are killing my team. I go back when Ned Irish was president and general partner of the Knicks. He was a bit of a prick himself but at least he left Eddie Donovan and Red alone. |
