Yes. I would put he and Mitch into the same bucket. Uber athletic dudes who don't really have that base fundamental basketball skill level yet. Will be interesting how they pan out over the next 2-3 years.

But lets see.
1. He is looked bad in his NBA time. Likely in practice as well. He was not ready for the NBA.
2. Gap in Gleague vs. NBA. Its not the same. Most children understand this.
3. They bought him up. What deficiencies he might have might have been worked on. Its a coaching staffs job to get players ready. So what a drunk uncle might thinks of "See, I told you he'd be good" is actually "He has worked hard and improved to be put in a position to succeed".

What he does is not predetermined.
