Hayes has been a long-time staple on France’s successful youth teams before moving to play in the top German league this season at 18 years old. Hayes’ athletic shortcomings will come under the microscope in pre-draft workouts, but during a year when many of the top prospects are failing to produce at above-average efficiency, the young French guard is doing it. Factor in his size and his youth, and there’s a lot to like about his projection to the NBA.

He's been touted to be the next big thing coming from France for a while. He's the son of two former pro players, his father DeRon came through Pennsylvania Uni but never made it to the NBA and played in France where he met Killian's mother Sandrine.

If you watched Frank at the same age you'd likely say the same thing.

Looks a lot stronger than Frank did at 18. Doesn't come off like an instant plug and play stud though.
