Though he isn't signing here by any stretch, just another example of why the Knicks are viewed as they are.

https://nba.nbcsports.com/2020/01/07/report-giannis-antetokounmpo-has-bad-thoughts-about-knicks-not-treating-his-brother-well/

On the other hand his brother still hasn't done anything league and is probably only still in the league because of him.

I don’t think the Knicks have a shot at Giannis but that is a terrible article. The article is based on one opinion quote from Berman.

Reminds me of Chris and JR Smith. Don't understand why players think their less talented brothers should be treated like they're prime time ballers.

Came away with the same view. There are no comments from Giannis to validate any of this. Even the breakdown in the article of what transpired with Thanasi. Nothing in the article leads you to believe the Knicks treated him poorly. Only a quote from Berman about what he thinks Giannis feels.

This is possibly the lowest quality of journalism ive read in a while.

Knicks gave him a shot. Paid him. Knick did him dirty? Blame Knicks for him not developing? I wish Berman backed up what happened.
He was a 23 year old rookie who has not cracked the NBA until 5 years later at age 27 because his DNA is the reigning MVP and likely Bucks doing what they need to keep his brother in Milwaukee.
At least Gerald Wilkins had the chops to stick in the NBA.
Youngest brother is with Lakers. Since Giannis developed late I suppose the hope is the brothers might also? Thanaisis is 27.

Giannis didn't develop late, he was an NBA player at 19, all star at 22.

Gerald Wilkins was a decent player. He gave us 19 per game one year. I learned how to make a layup watching him and his statue of liberty

Honestly i don't want gianis anyways he always chokes when playoff time happen like last year against the raptors and celtics year before that. Gianis is good regular season player but a playoff choker when games matter.

lol. Yeah, Gannis is one of the top-5 players in the game. If we added him to our current roster, we become a 50 win team.

I am not denying that he not good player but he is playoff choker in his career so far i don't believe he some all time great player like people make him out to be. Honestly if he is happy with the bucks he should stay with them which most likely he will stay them.

... You are a playoff choker until you are not. Lots of examples of guys and teams finally figuring it out. See Dallas and Dirk

I love the idea and delusion that Giannis would have any interest at all to play for the Knicks.

Wilt was a playoff choker also. He won only two chips.
Basketball is a 5 man game. If you shut down one and the others won’t take what’s given then the team loses.

The only thing Berman has knowledge of is ....Donuts.
