Does Kevins shot release look "quicker" to me? Seems like he is not looking for elevation on his long range three.
I did not see first half last night and how Dennis looked. He on the other hand this season looked more like he was looking for lift, shooting at the apex of his jump and a higher trajecrtory on his shot.
Frank looks the same but seems to hold his follow thru a bit more this season. Speaking of frank, I saw his minutes down again. No doubt team with Payton moves better. Super happy Dennis is showing why he exists!!!! I'd like to see Frank play the 2 with Dennis with RJ at the wing.

Any difference in Knox's game is on the defensive end....He seems to be playing with more of a sense of urgency and energy on the defensive side of the ball. Also, love the way he took the ball to the rack last night. The coast to coast dunk was nice to see from him. Shows the potential he has.

Knox is playing like a cloud has been lifted

not just defense. he's doing those little floater things. He stepped out of bounds on one play, but that play showed he needs like 2 strides to go from 3 point line to the rim -- hard to defend. He still has some moments where i don't see energy

let's see if he can keep it going. When he is open i expect the shot to go in

Let's see if DSJ can string 2 games together.

I see his long term potential as a stretch 4 when he fills out. Kid is just 20 years old.
His stride is impressive!
Nalod is hates losing but after years of harping on a rebuild I encourage the doubters to look past blame and into potential.
Sure its frustrating and we want good stuff now but somewhere the rebuild gains traction and momentum shifts. KP was a big setback and RJ is work in progress.
Its an old story I have told many times.
The FizBlame likely had a lot of elements to it. The sheer pressure to win either by fans or self inflicted sucked the patience out of him and he appeared to have coached accordingly.
I'd be far more respectful of our FO if they were just level with us.

I originally wanted to draft Knox when I started to watch the prospects for the 2018 draft.. so say Jan or Feb of that year... He looked the part. At first glance he looked exactly like what you'd want to draft. There were a lot of Kentucky guys I could have seen the Knicks drafting so I watched a ton of Kentucky. But Knox was really the one I had my eye on... I can't tell you how many games you just forgot he was there. I am not talking about Allan Houston or something, where you look up and are like 'holy crap he has 26 points - how?' Knox just vanished. He should have been the best player on the court but he wasn't. I remember the Alabama/Kentucky game where SGA and Sexton really shined and there were a few bench players for Kentucky that had a bigger impact than Knox. When he was at Kentucky he would only really have a major impact on the game for a couple of minutes every time I watched him. So, I stopped wanting Knox (Mikal Bridges or Sexton for me back then) because he is a shooter that can maybe make his presence felt for five minutes. Hopefully he becomes consistent but I haven't seen enough over along enough period of time to expect that he will be consistent. He couldn't force his will on the trash that is SEC basketball

Knox needs time and he will never be an enforcing PF.
His high ceiling is Kevin Love type.
But he can be a very useful piece of winning team.

At 9th pick there are few certainties and its about upside. Few freshman give you certainty. Bridges as an older player has not shown the polish and Sexton is inconsistent. The book is not written for either of them yet. Knox is young and the “Man strength” has yet to develop. It might not. He can shoot, the stride, the character and genetics to be a good pro. How good? Thats the fun part. Guessing!!!

I think if Knox pans out he will be very good. I think his ceiling is Rashard Lewis. I think the point of my long rant (thanks for trying Nalod!) is that Knox's inconsistencies look exactly the same today as they did while he was in college.

Same can be said about Barrett also. But what he does well as an 18 year old freshman he is doing as a 19 year old in the NBA. If Knox is the same player at this level that's not all that bad. Maybe it boils down to a fans expectation vs the team? Frank is the same player in the NBA as he was in France. Might have taken longer. The ceiling for a young guy is what he was in college or as an 18 at the previous level? Of course not, he should be that then grow. Sorry if I miss the jest of your comment.

Morris's minutes have been going down and Knox's have been going up. Some of that is because the last three games have been blowouts but the eye tests says Knox has been more aggressive.
