Funny how even Isola says “More than capable Mike MIller”. The guy has little on his resume to say otherwise. GLeague is about who your parent team gives you and sometimes you lose players along the way. Rosters are fluid that even winning in the Gleague playoffs often is about who the opponent loses on its roster.
That said I am rooting for his success and that he shows he is the next (not so young) guy on the way up!
Dolan has to grow a pair. Sell his controlling stake would be a good start. Not all of it, just enough that we dont have to see him introducing the next round of dudes he will fire.

If true this is a good sign. Mills needs to go, he is a proven failure in his role as a team builder with the Knicks. He has presided over or participated in a spectacular amount of failure and bad decision-making.

He signed THJ acting as Prez/GM in between Jax and Perry, and has been Dolan's "basketball mind" deciding who leads the team, makes decisions, and brings it to Dolan for approval.

His hands are were all about creating this pile of doo doo of a club for decades. We can't get rid of Dolan, but Mills is the most constant throughout our decades of disaster.

This is the most hopeful piece of news we've had in ages, IMHO.

Hard to know when to believe Isola, He works for the Nets now. Hopefully this is accurate. Have to decide if I am going to waste one of my free articles on Isola. IN the past I have avoided his Athletic content.

I hear you bro. No Knick fan holds too much love for him for good reason, even if Dolan's treatment of him and other reporters has been awful.

The Athletic has some great journalists in other areas, but he's the only one I can think of who seems the odd one out in that regard due to his ridiculous bias regarding the Knicks.

I know everyone wants Ujiri, but the Raptors would be crazy to let him go and I don't like having to give them firsts for him. Just don't see it happening. I think the stars are aligning for Morey though- think the Rockets will fire him in the offseason (think they wanted to fire him after the Hong Kong tweet but it would look bad). He's an a**hole and not popular with other GMs and I hate him, but can't dispute his results and ability to find cheap and expensive talent via draft, g league, minimum contract guys, second rounders, first rounders, etc etc. Plus he's use to working with an interfering owner (that current Rockets one is worse than Dolan and cheap)

I'd rather the team succeed with tweeks. RJ ROY, Frank as a solid guard, Randle efficient PF and Dennis a microwave able to put in pts in short time.
Im rooting for this team to succeed. If not, roll more heads. 60 games to go. Not looking for miracle, just a positive trend.
