I like every idea but the in-season tournament. I'd rather see a seperate playoffs the top 12 teams that didn't make the playoffs.

Winner gets the top pick?

The in season tournament is stupid as hell and makes zero sense. Winning achieves what exactly? A lottry pick to further to division between good and bad teams. The problem with the NBA is the max salary. You want to see more excitement get rid of it, and institute a hard cap. We will actually see what players are worth. Get rid of the draft and bid on rookies. Stars won't be able to bunch onto teams. You want be able to pull **** like Golden State did with Durant and Russel. Its ridiclious they got to get one of the better free agents. Now they will get the number 1 pick this year.

I don't know about a mid season tournament, but I do like the idea of an NIT type tournament for the teams who don't make the playoffs at the end of the season. I'm sure something like that will be frown upon and "clowned" by some fans but, I think over time, it will win people over..Especially if the incentive is worth it (more pingpong balls in draft, an extra first round pick or extra $$ cap space for the following year).

I don't believe reseeding is necessary but I wouldn't be opposed to something that. I would like the NBA to finally implement a REAL minor league system.
Also, not a fan of "sign and trades". I know they benefit both teams, and I am all for players taking having control of their careers, but removing this "loophole" will force teams and players to show their true intentions early on and confirm their commitment to each other

That's what I've been calling for for years. I wouldn't say the top pick, but maybe the 5th or something like that

good concept, say a sort of "floor" to the pick. Even if a guaranteed top 10. Problem is if you trade the pick and unprotected it gets even more complicated.
I like the incentive. Winner should get some incentive. Maybe a bye into the playoffs? if in, a jump in the seed? HOme court advantage? If top seed, some other compensation, could be cap space or luxury tax credit?
