i just received nba live yesterday and it continues to impress me, especially dynasty mode. i guess they need to bring their level up to madden status. what struck me as odd are their rankings of different teams. the knicks were rated pretty high considering and higher than teams like houston and indy to name a few. they are good on the game with depth and speed but not that good. marbury is nice like always and crawford starts which is wishful thinking. he is pretty good also but they made him a big dunker. is he really? the big suprise is jerome williams. he is all over the court and his defense is stellar disrupting any type of offensive set. he can leap really high for the rebound and move for fast break dunks. i love substituting him in. all in all, this is a good game that will be highly addicting the next few months.

2005 got slam dunks and ****, but 2k5 got playerz feeling and chemistry

2k5 is not out yet, and just like the nfl 2k5 goes for $20, so will the nba2k5 game.

NBAlive can't compare, then again to each is own i played both last year , and some things are better then the other. Overall play will probably be better with 2k5 if your into more realistic gameplay.

Live is just fun to play and usually has a better stat trac, but in the dynasty mode, trading players was highway robbery. You usually have to overpay , or give up way to much.

2k5 doesn't have allstar weekend, which includes the slam dunk contest, 3 point shooting contest, rookie challenge & more...i've read great reviews on the new Live...i'm hoping my copy will arrive today in the mail.

Live all the way, I haven't been able to put that game down. I love the fact that you can join a game during any quarter.
