AI is more about getting to the lane and breaking down a defender than jumpshooting over him. Jordan was not a jumpshooter he was the best player in the game and you cannot compare him to Houston. Houston doesn't do much of driving or drawing the foul because (as established in an earlier thread) he lacks the natural abillity to do so.

When Hou drop that 50pt blast on the lakers ( 80% jumpers) phil had the entire team ( except shaq) take a shot at guarding him to no avail.

No, they only had Kobe guarding Houston who was too busy dropping 40 points instead of playing defense. Shaq was injuerd.

So I'm not understanding his point, Especially when your talking about a shooter who's one ( if not the best) in the business today.

If you are shorter than the guy playing defense on you, then you will either have to drive around the guy which he cannot do or jump over the guy which he is too old to do.
