A LOT of guys have some redemption after that $hit-show of a performance against the Wizards last Friday.

Lools like we will finally see Smith jr., and maybe Iggy. Expect more uptempo play, PGs pushing the tempo, instead of mostly ISO. Thats why the offense was so stagnant last game as opposed to the first one.

really looking forward to seeing DSjr... much has been made about his improvements and what a good camp he was having

What I heard as well. Im sure Smith jr. will have his ups amd downs this season. If he can stay healthy, with the talent we have on the roster from 1-12. Believe we have an outside chance of making the playoffs. Its being televised nationally, would be great to see the Knicks make a little noise tonight.

I was expecting Elfrid Payton to be an uptempo guard with stronger court vision. Strong rebounder to initiate the push as well. So we will see

Unless frank or Payton show they can shoot over 40% the next few games, then I’d rather have RJ take the backup pg minutes

Also, I hope Mitch starts showing us something tonight. Wonder if that knee injury hampered his offseason plans but he looks like he’s not really put much work in the offseason- body looks exactly the same, I kind of thought he’d put on some muscle.

I’m not throwing him under the bus, and I think he’ll be fine, but if Fiz is serious about players earning their spots, then maybe we should start the season with a starting lineup of:

PF Morris
SF Knox
Sg Barrett

He went through a prolonged shooting streak in college, then again in his rookie season, so it’ll be interesting to see if that’s a regular occurrence for him or just growing pains.

Fingers crossed DSjr can take a step forward this year, I’m fed up of having bums as our point guards!

Just on a personal note, I can’t stand the term “hater.” With that said, if there ever were a Knick hater, it’s Richard Jefferson. I would rather kiss a cobra then listen to him.
