I do think they've made training camp too short these days- feels very rushed

Man, Bobby P looks smooth on offense. I hope the DSJ back issues are nothing. Also, ERs might see a spike in visits during Knicks games. RJ's shot selection isn't for the weak of heart.

Pretty good. He looked quick. Took a lot of 3s. Moves really well. I don’t think his fitness will ever be a problem. He 100% took this Summer really serious.

Barrett didn’t look as bad as BigDaddy suggested. He has a lot to learn regardless, just like Knox last year.

Barrett was playing PG. he was guarded by Ntilikina and Payton, right? Both pretty good defenders when they put their mind to it.

At moments, yes but not most of the time.

Didn't mean to suggest he looked horrible. But he threw up some junk. I expect there to be some WTF!?!? moments.

First preseason and once again we got Dennis with a sore back.
Hope this is not a chronic issue as I fear.

I read they said it was muscular, so not bad.

But I would say someone with DSjr's injury issues, he should be working hard to strengthen his core and his back, and the fact that it's muscular, is to me, worrying.

Hope for the best, expect the worst - that seems to be what Knick fans have been conditioned for.

what would be less worrying than muscular? That means something is tight or pulled or spasming. Its as short term as you can get. Inflammation would worrying

He lost 15 lbs over the summer and from what I read had been working on all aspects of his game and body.
Berman mentions extra playing time perhaps for frank and given his extension but never a peep about Dennis.
Dennis has not fulfilled his potential either.

Frank played 78 games as a rookie. Dennis 69. 122 games
Frank played 43 games last year, Dennis 53. 121 games.

Frank had shoulder and Groin issues last season. Dennis has had a bad back in the NBA. I want to see these guys on the court together!!!

The 3 is key

Yep. Key for spacing. Also would make Payton/Frank combo feasible on offense.
the real future is a Frank/RJ backcourt. Two guys who are 6'6 and can handle the ball and make plays. Frank guards the more dangerous player on offense. Those guys would look great in the 3 guard sets that dominate the NBA as well.

Defensivly that would be sick. Both of those guys can't shoot though
