Good for Lance. They are getting a real team player. Called the Nets as the destination for Melo. Surprised that he hasnt been signed if in fact KD/Kyrie asked for him. Doubt its about money. Knew Melo would scare some teams off, but not like this.

1) want to add any more drama to the Kyrie clubhouse circus

3) want to ensure they have an easier and smaller load to dump when the Mayor returns from PED rehab
4) were overly impressed with how LT handles DNP-CD's as opposed to Melo

I have no doubt melo could have adapted to a journeyman role if he wanted to. He can rebound and pass. I have seen this. What I have not seen is him do as part of a team concept. Melo did something very egregious in his last two stops to not get a chance to play again. Was it his defense? Inability to play a role lessor than his ego thought?

Melo was his usual self. One of the greatest scorers in the game and one of the lowers impact star players ever.
This team would win around same amount of games with any other top 20 player at 3 at this time and will be bounced in playoffs when the old bodies fall apart.
Then Melo was no help as no one else would.
Player of his level having just 1 winning season out of 7 with a team is nothing shot of huge embarrassment.
Why would anyone do this with himself... Never get it.

How many winning season??? last i checked, we went to the playoffs in melos first 3(10/11, 11/12/ 12/13) season with the knicks, it wasn't until Mills came on board and it's been down hill every yr since.

I don't see Antonio Browns teammates vouching for him like Melo..
