Kwahi Leonard was limping for days after the finals. Not sure this kid is fully over his injury in SAS.
He signed a two year deal. Paul George got his other shoulder operated on. Both of them have contracts that expire in just two years. They are great ball players.

Clippers owe Thunder all their picks for the next 15 years. (a joke)
This either goes swimmingly well in the near term or can be an epic disaster. I admire the effort by the clipps but "damn"........High risk/reward. Thunder a bit stuck with CP3's contract but after that "Wow". Hope they move back to Seattle. They had their fun.

I get the west is wide open with the Warriors losing its dominance via Durant and Klay (They will still be damn good!) but Im not getting the clippers roster as being the best. If we talking 1-2 punch I'd take Lakers combo of Davis and Lebron if healthy. Kawhi/George healthy is no slouch by any stretch. For that matter Combo of Harden and Westbrook might be intense. WestBrook as a chemistry addition is a big question. Portland is balanced, Jazz might be sneaky balanced and then there is Denver who on top of all its goodness from last year gets Michael Porter. GSW, Lakes, Clippers and Rockets all will have interesting chemistry blending to do. Portland, Jazz and Denver have its core returning. Mavs for all it cap space and east euro potential did not land Kemba. Sorry that CP3 did not go there. I would have loved to see him verbally abuse KP. We have Mavs picks in 2021 and 2023. We need to defer their suckatude until those years. So if KP has a good year don't feel too bad. Its the next year we want to get our Voodoo kits out.

East the 76er have to be early favorites with Boston my favorite to be sneaky. Nets are not on my radar which means nothing. Seems everyone is shyt in the east. Indy will be good as will Milwaukee. For all its worth, those cities still suck. Weather is awful. Milwaukee has the cool down town thing and a great music festival each year. So do other places.

Miami might be decent and the Hawks/Magic can't suck forever, right? Lets be Honest, The Wiz are like what the knicks were? Stuck.

Believe it will come down to the Clips and Lakers bench. Lakers bench kind of remind me of the 54 win season. On paper the talent was there, things went well in the first half of the season, but then injuries kicked in, and the losses piled up.

They have to count on guys like Rondo, Howard, Dudley, Boogie(?) staying healthy. Clips are a younger team, with less experience on the bench. Guessing they will both make the WCF, unless injuries kick in big time, then I see Portland getting by one of them. Not sure about Denver yet. Not sure about Denver having the same record, with all the changes in the West.

One thing about Denver is that core has been together for a while. Every other team will need time to gel in the west. I expect Harris to rebound and Milsap to slip a bit more tho.

Boogie got the ACL so he is out for the year. He needs a full year to get it back and then total rehab.
Old saying is "Chip are won on the training table". GSW perfect example. Its first chip was won by injuries to other teams in front of them. They were young and healthy. They gave the last one back to the gods who wanted payment.
I have no idea if Denver is ready for prime time. Portand and Jazz might be next up. Im not sure the west is really that much improved but rebalanced. Maybe the same thing said.

Nalod bottom line is knicks take care of themselves and Im happy. That and bad karma befall upon the Mavs in years knicks own the pick. If the gods see it fit perhaps KP was the chosen one to deliver us the savior. The twist it was not meant to be him, but by his fall we get a lottery pick and perhaps either move up or just draft "THE GUY".

Maybe Dennis ascends to all star status.

True. Portland will have Nuric back. Portland might have a better record next season than Denver. They took that next step in the playoffs. The West is going to be very interesting next season. GS is still around, but with Durant gone, Klay out. They are going to have to rely on Curry to the point where the load might start to tax him physically. Might not have enough for the playoffs.

Forgot about the Jazz. Conley brings his playoff experience. Thats another team to watch out for. Glad Mudiay found a home there. Wasnt a fit here, but worked his butt off for another chance. Left a better player

I like Doc Rivers, and think if I had to pick them or the Lakers, he gives them an edge, even if they have less talent.

What they managed to do last season was nothing if not exceptional and overachieving!
