Hey guys, just wondering if anyone here is into the Liberty, the sister basketball team of the New York Knicks?

I've been watching them since 1997 and tonight is an important game being played at MSG. It's at 8 pm on the Oxygen Network. Not sure if a lot of you get that channel? Anyway, it's against the Detroit Shock, whom are defening champions in the WNBA...and we can't let them win the series in OUR HOUSE!

what the liberty needed to do was stink the joint up last year and get that number 1 pick. you know how many uconn fans wouldve bought tickets? it wouldve been worth every bit of tanking a year financially. i cant associate with NY liberty they have no uconn players and they all are pretty much beastly to look at. i watch a good number of uconn womens games and i go to 1-2 a year[tickets are very tough] the liberty need a premiere Uconn player right out of the draft, but there wont be one for quite awhile now. retreading older players doesnt work.

HA! Although it would also be pretty tough to say that all the UConn players have been such babes wouldn't it?

Well let's hope the older players help the Liberty tonight....I guess it's the same thing as the Knicks, eh? Getting older players and not drafting young players? Anyone else gonna watch the game tonight, rather than me? Let me know.

I've been keeping track of the Liberty lately, and while I probably won't be watching the entire game, I'll be constantly checking on the score.

Playoff ball at the Garden, may not be the Knicks, but I'll take it.

Let's go Liberty!!!!

now that the Yankee game was postponed I have no choice

HUGE game tonigt, but I'm sick and tired of the Liberty. Every year it's the same thing. They are good in the East but there's always 3-4 better teams in the West. You are right they need to change the face of the team.

Those girls can shoot it on the liberty.....

I was screaming to take Donaphin out the game and put Frett back in but she came up with that prayer.

As far as these playoffs? If the Liberty can avoid the Sparks they are gonna win a Championship this year. I really don't think Washington or Conneticut can go shot for shot with the Liberty and neither team are as good as Detroit is inside. They will be in the Finals and beat any team except the Spark.
