I'm totally confused about the naming here.

There's USA Basketball Training... and then there's the team USA Select Team (the latter is what Mitchell Robinson was invited to earlier this month).

Which is the group they select from to go to the Olympics/World Cup/International competitions and which is just the practice team?

Do they add garbage players to this squad? Cause maybe we actually signed a half way decent young player with upside!

Not sure. I don’t know if they move guys up from the select team.
