And could not get one of them let alone 2, to sign on to play in the mecca of basketball..
The first all black FO, not only could they not sign near one of them, they couldn't even get a damn meeting...Several of those players actually wanted to play here.
They didn't want to trade for a guy who puts up Video game stats because they feared a melo type situation..
you open a sht load of cap space to sign role players..lol..its soooo sad it's completely funny now..
Somebody had the nerve to say they are waiting on Gannis..
The knicks plan now is to wait for a star to get disgruntled and trade for him...lmao..wtf
And you wonder why knicks have been in bad shape for so long....you sound like Steve A Smith and the media, crying about nothing. Putting pressure on the knicks, so they can sign someone long term, just to appease the masses.
OK, lets play your game, the first African American FO couldn't sign anybody....How did the Phil Jackson FO do, who's clearly not African American. Same with the FO in the past that was not AA or the owner, who's clearly not well liked around the league and also not AA.
First of all, this has nothing to do with race or color. The knicks stink since Dolan took over. Since then, we've been trying to remove the stink. Obviously we still stink, even if Dolan claims he's not in the room. With that said, I think KD would've signed with us if he didn't get injured. But there's also a chance he still signs with Brooklyn regardless of health, then what? To me, Jay Z has more pull than you think. He's connected to both Kyrie and KD...plus part owner of Nets. Smart move by a smart owner.
It takes time to change...to find the right FO....the right coach...the right players....that works under this owner. For us, we hit the reset button multiple times, I understand that...our time will come....hopefully sooner than later.
